Belmont's Curse is set 23 years after Castlevania III: Dracula's Curse. Medieval Paris is burning, monsters are pouring out of the dark, and Trevor Belmont walks into it with his daughter Rose, who carries Dracula's curse in her right arm. Konami calls it a 2D action-exploration game. This wiki tracks what Konami has actually confirmed, and is just as clear about what it has not.

The free demo is live, and so is its bug thread. Every line below is a pattern that shows up repeatedly in community reports. Konami has not responded publicly to any of them, so treat causes as unknown.

October 14, 2026 on PlayStation 5, Nintendo Switch, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox on PC and Steam. That is the Steam listing date, which is the reading this site uses everywhere. Konami's own regional pages display 15-Oct-26, which is the same launch seen from a different timezone.
No. Konami describes it as set 23 years after Castlevania III: Dracula's Curse, which places the story in 1499. It is a new game in the same timeline, not a remake or a remaster.
Not announced. Every official listing names Nintendo Switch only. There is no Switch 2 native version, and Konami has not said one is planned, so this page will say so until that changes.
Yes. The Alucard Style Costume is the pre-order reward for the Standard and the Midnight Edition alike. The difference between the two editions is the Digital Sound & Art Gallery and three in-game items, not the pre-order bonus.
Yes. It went live on September 30, 2026 on PS5, Switch, Xbox Series X|S and Steam, and it covers the opening chapter. Progress carries over to the full game as long as you keep the demo save and play on the same platform with the same account.
Every page is sourced, labelled and dated: the release date, the edition maths, the demo carry-over rules, the six bosses and the forty years of Castlevania behind them.
