The Standard Edition costs $29.99 on Steam, the PlayStation Store, the Microsoft Store and the Nintendo eShop, and the Midnight Edition costs $39.99 on Steam. Every figure on this page was read from the storefronts on October 2, 2026, and prices follow the store region your account is set to.
The two prices that matter
| Edition | Price | What you get |
|---|---|---|
| Standard | $29.99 | The full game |
| Midnight | $39.99 | The full game, the Digital Sound & Art Gallery, two costumes and one relic |
There is no third tier, no season pass and no upgrade path announced beyond the difference in the box. The Alucard Style Costume, which is the pre-order bonus, is identical in both editions. If that is the only thing you want, the cheaper edition gets it. The full contents comparison is on the editions page.
The Midnight Edition's extra content is not cosmetic-only padding: its gallery contains more than a hundred concept art pieces and sketches with a built-in music player, and it installs as its own application rather than as a menu inside the game.
Steam regional prices
Currency conversion alone will not predict what you pay. These are the Steam store prices read directly on October 2, 2026:
| Store region | Standard | Midnight |
|---|---|---|
| United States (USD) | $29.99 | $39.99 |
| United Kingdom (GBP) | £24.98 | £34.99 |
| Germany (EUR) | 29,99€ | 39,99€ |
| Japan (JPY) | ¥3,850 | ¥4,950 |
| Brazil (BRL) | R$169,90 | R$229,90 |
| Australia (AUD) | A$39.95 | A$54.94 |
| Canada (CAD) | CDN$39.99 | CDN$53.49 |
Two of those numbers are worth flagging because they look like typos and are not. The UK Standard price is £24.98, not £24.99, and the Australian Midnight price is A$54.94, not A$54.95. Both are what the storefront returns, so both are what this page prints. Rounding them would make the page disagree with the page you are about to buy from.
Console store prices
All three console storefronts list the Standard Edition at $29.99, matching Steam's US price. That covers the PlayStation Store, the Microsoft Store and the Nintendo eShop.
⚠️ Incomplete. The Midnight Edition price on the three console storefronts has not been captured yet. We are not going to guess it from the Steam difference, because console storefronts do not always price upgrade tiers by the same margin. Until it is read, this page shows the Steam figure for Midnight and nothing else.
What the price does not include
Belmont's Curse is a paid game with no free-to-play tier, no subscription requirement and no in-game currency announced. The only free part of it is the demo, which costs nothing and is covered in full on the demo page.
There is also no announced discount, launch promotion or loyalty price. If a storefront shows you one, that is a regional promotion rather than a Konami price change, and it will not appear on this page.
One purchase decision sits outside price entirely: whether your machine can run it, which the PC requirements page answers, and which platform you want to buy on, which the platforms page maps against frame rate and physical availability. The date you will actually be able to play is on the release date page.
FAQ
How much does Belmont's Curse cost?
$29.99 for the Standard Edition and $39.99 for the Midnight Edition on Steam, with the Standard Edition at $29.99 on the PlayStation Store, Microsoft Store and Nintendo eShop as well.
Is the Midnight Edition worth the extra $10?
It depends on whether you want the art and music gallery. The game itself is identical in both editions, and the pre-order costume is the same. The gallery is the only substantial difference, and it installs separately from the game. The editions page breaks the comparison down row by row.
Why is the UK price £24.98 and not £24.99?
Because that is what the Steam storefront returns for the UK region. Steam sets regional prices itself and they do not always land on round numbers. The same is true of the Australian Midnight price at A$54.94.
Is there a cheaper way to play at launch?
Only the free demo, which is a separate download and covers the opening chapter. There is no subscription service or bundle that includes the full game.
