Belmont's Curse releases on PlayStation 5, Nintendo Switch, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox on PC and Steam. There is no PlayStation 4 or Xbox One version, no macOS or Linux build, and no Nintendo Switch 2 version has been announced.
Every platform at launch
| Platform | Storefront | Frame rate | Physical release |
|---|---|---|---|
| PlayStation 5 | PlayStation Store | 60 fps | Midnight Edition only |
| Nintendo Switch | Nintendo eShop | 30 fps | Midnight Edition only |
| Xbox Series X / Series S | Microsoft Store | 60 fps | Midnight Edition only |
| Xbox on PC | Microsoft Store | 60 fps | Digital only |
| PC | Steam | 60 fps | Digital only |
The Standard Edition is digital everywhere. Only the Midnight Edition is sold on a disc, and even that disc needs an extra download: Konami states that the physical version requires an additional download from the online store. Media differ by platform as well, with Blu-ray discs on PS5 and Xbox Series and a game card on Switch.
The Switch frame rate is the one real platform difference, and it is worth stating plainly rather than burying: Switch runs at 30 fps while every other platform runs at 60 fps. Konami has not published resolution targets for any platform.

What is not supported
Four gaps are worth stating explicitly, because each of them is a question players ask in the weeks before launch:
No PlayStation 4 or Xbox One version. Konami's platform list stops at the current generation, and no previous-generation build has been announced. No macOS or Linux build. Steam reports the platform flags directly, and the Mac and Linux flags are both false. The PC version is Windows only. No Switch 2 native build. Every official listing names Nintendo Switch and nothing newer. No Switch 2 version has been announced, and if that changes, this page and the release date page will say so the same day. No mobile or cloud version. There is no iOS, Android or streaming edition.
Languages
Konami ships 11 text languages and 2 audio languages.
Audio: Japanese, English. Text: Japanese, English, German, French, Italian, Spanish (Spain), Brazilian Portuguese, Russian, Chinese (Traditional), Chinese (Simplified) and Korean.
Two details matter here. First, "Spanish (Spain)" is what the official table says, so Latin American Spanish is not listed separately. Second, audio and text are not the same list: the game is fully playable with Japanese audio and English subtitles, but you cannot get, for example, German voice acting.
Controller and Steam features
Steam's store listing records what the PC build supports, and the list is unusually specific: full controller support, keyboard-only play, recommended gamepad, DualSense support, family sharing, stereo sound and a custom volume control. There is no mention of co-op, multiplayer or online features of any kind, and the store categories list Single-player only.
That matters for the launch version of the game, because it is the kind of detail people assume rather than check. Belmont's Curse is a single-player game.
⚠️ Pending. Konami has not published resolution targets, performance modes or HDR support for any console. Anything you read about 4K or performance modes is currently unsourced.
Controller problems in the demo
Controller detection is one of the most reported demo problems: DualSense, Switch pads and the Steam Controller have all been reported missing from the settings menu. That is demo behaviour rather than a statement about the finished build, but if your only pad is one of those, the demo troubleshooting list is worth reading before launch day.
FAQ
Is Belmont's Curse coming to PS4 or Xbox One?
No. Konami's platform list covers PS5, Nintendo Switch, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox on PC and Steam, and no previous-generation version has been announced.
Is there a Nintendo Switch 2 version?
Not announced. Every official listing names Nintendo Switch only, and Konami has not said a Switch 2 version is planned.
Does it run on Mac or Linux?
No. Steam reports the Windows flag as the only supported desktop platform, with macOS and Linux both false. This page lists it as Windows-only until Konami says otherwise.
Can I play with Japanese voices?
Yes. Japanese and English are the two audio languages, and both are available regardless of which text language you pick.
